Appletree will remain open during lockdown for all patients, non patients and emergencies.
Here at Appletree your dental health is important to us and we would like to advise you that we will remain open and ready to see you for any of your dental needs including routine examinations, treatment, pain and hygiene appointments.
If you haven’t been in since the last lockdown please be advised that we regularly update and implement all of the PPE and protocols required to ensure the safety of both our patients and our staff. Since the first lockdown we have also installed air purifying machines in reception and both surgeries. These machines sterilise and circulate the air every four minutes.
As a CQC accredited dental practice, you can always expect the highest possible standards of quality and hygiene during your visit. We’re proud to invest time, training and investment in our staff, safety measures and equipment to continue to offer you unparalleled levels of customer service and the very latest treatments.
The reason why so many patients visit us for their dental health is because we provide a thorough and efficient service. Your normal routine examination is actually so much more than that, your dental professional will evaluate the health of your gums whilst screening for gum disease, perform a thorough head and neck examination whilst screening for cancer and examine your mouth for any indications of oral cancer, diabetes or vitamin deficiencies. Don’t be surprised if your dentist also examines your face, bite, saliva and movement of your lower jaw joints.
Appletree will also continue with routine hygiene appointments, In conjunction with your own daily oral hygiene routine, a frequent visit to the hygienist will keep you free of plaque and tartar deposits that inevitably build up and not only affects the appearance of your teeth but also the health of your gums and the bone supporting your teeth. Our hygienists are able to remove all traces using the very best and latest airflow technology and skillset to get teeth and gums back to full health. There is also a link between gum disease and other medical conditions such as heart health, strokes and diabetes. Arranging an appointment to see one of our dental hygienists could save your oral health as well as your overall health and well-being.
